Hi, my name is Jodi!
My personal philosophy is to trust your instincts, believe in yourself and the power of a smile, push your boundaries and respect your limits.
I believe yoga can bring power, calm, and change to every person and that yoga is accessible to every body.
I have been teaching yoga since 2010 and working as a Communications & Public Relations Consultant since 2009. My professional life before then focused on community relations, social media, outreach, and building relationships and partnerships. I completed a graduate program and earned my Public Relations certificate one month before the birth of my first child. I wasn't anticipating motherhood to be a complete (wonderful) upheaval of my career path, yet it completely was and I realized that I had to love what I did to be away from my children. I had the fortunate circumstances to make this brave choice. I became a yoga teacher and pursued additional clients through my PR consulting.
I've discovered my passion is when I'm empowering others to feel strong in what they do; whether that's by navigating and creating social media accounts or teaching a yoga class that meets you where you're at on the mat. (i.e. prenatal, postnatal, mamalates, vinyasa, family yoga!)
If I'm not teaching a class or working with a client, I'm playing with my kids - ideally in the forest on a hike - in or around Portland, Oregon.
