At the beginning of 2018, I started my Jibean Wellness LLC business because I felt ready to launch into expanding my weekly prenatal and postpartum yoga and fitness classes, birth recovery workshops, and to add in Wellness Coaching. I completed a Wellness Coaching certification program in 2017 to round out my ability to help clients and friends who felt stuck in their lives, health, or body.
To me, Wellness Coaching is about feeling good on the inside and out, from your digestion to your muscle strength and flexibility. It’s also about the feeling good in your mental, emotional, and soul levels. For me, “being well” is beyond the body. But it starts in the body. You may see changes in the body, yet our reasons go deeper.

With Wellness Coaching, I want to work with clients to:
- Lower stress and feeling of burn out
- Balance blood sugars and combat cravings
- Reduce fatigue and feeling stuck
- Reduce inflammation and feeling of bloating
- Improve digestion and how your “innards” feel
- Reduce puffy skin or dull eyes
- Improve overall strength, flexibility, posture, and mental clarity
- Make lasting changes that fit in your life, for the rest of your life
In the past, I have done small group coaching for women wanting to make body composition changes, but what I learned was that by making the shifts in their overall wellness, they were happier and healthier. The scale and the measuring tape can be tools, but they aren’t the whys.
Personally, I’ve been through the Whole 30 program, the Paleo/Atkins/Ketogenic approach, the intermittent fasting, the eat-small-meals-every-two-hours thing, etc. I have done so many different programs. What changed for me with the Wellness Coaching certification was that I saw how much Motivation and Ambiguity play into our long-term results. I also learned how much what we eat plays into our adrenals and our thyroid – and that so many of the programs tiptoe around the same basic principles. Plus, the importance of stress management and mindfulness to be well.
So, I started with myself on January 3, 2018, to put into action what I had learned and see what it would feel like. I balanced my blood sugars. I reduced inflammation. I weaned off of my coffee addiction to now it’s simply an occasional pleasure. I have less joint aches and less mood swings. I feel centered and calm and frankly, happy.
Yes, there were inches and pounds lost, but that wasn’t the point. I felt good. My thyroid and A1C (blood sugar) levels had shifted to optimal. In fact, my health was good, I became pregnant without the significant efforts previous pregnancies had required - but this would be a whole different post :)

I will soon be offering small group coaching again to move further into wellness with you. My plan is to offer some specific to prenatal and postpartum women as those groups tend to have slightly different needs, wants, and goals that truly need compassion, kindness and nurturing nourishment.
I’ve also decided to partner with a global company committed to health and wellness from the inside out. I’m a new Consultant with Arbonne and you can check out the non-GMO, vegan, organic offerings they have from my online shop. The fiber powder, protein powder, and fizz sticks made a difference for me and I actually liked how they tasted. It made sense to include this as part of my business. I can't wait to work with you so that you can, as I like to tell my clients, "Breathe, Engage, and Be Well."
